Hello Everyone,

I am a graduate student in the School of Education at IU. I am currently working with students who like to learn Swahili culture and practices. My hobbies include listening to the radio and watching world news. I also enjoy trying things from different parts of the world and listening to adventures, experiences, challenges and stories of those who have not had experiences living in a country other than theirs.

For me, migrants in my village and country in general, have continued to broaden experiences living, working, and interacting with people.

It makes communication and sharing products and ideas interesting when different parties interact (migrants and a residents). I recently learned about the donut day. I personally raised many questions about it, however, I came to compare it with a regular practice in my community and it made sense.

The immigration topic and its implication to the state of Indiana and globally is worth sharing and exploring and is definitely an interesting one.

  1. Hi Margaret
I believe I have been put in your group since Lizeth dropped out. Is there someone named Addison in the group as well? I didn't see that name on the facilitators list. I would love to talk to you both about what you have done so far and help wherever I can. Amy said you were thinking about focusing on healthcare. I look forward to hearing from you.
